Hurricane Preparedness

Hurricane PreparednessALERT! August 27, 2012    Current Hurricane Preparedness Plans

We will shelter in place unless current hurricane conditions change. If you choose to voluntarily evacuate your loved one, please do so today while conditions warrant a safe transition. If any questions, please do call us at 394-5991.

It is our responsibility to see that each and every resident is safe from New Orleans' infamous weather conditions. We have several policies and procedures put into place to assure the residents are safe and away from any sudden dangers resulting from inclement weather conditions such as hurricanes, severe storms, and tornados.

Should a hurricane occur and there is a need to evacuate, we have provided the following information as to where the resident will be moved, as well as contact numbers for your peace of mind.

Should you have any further questions about hurricane evacuation of Our Lady of Wisdom Healthcare Center, please feel free to contact Denise Davis, RN, Director of Nursing at (504) 394-5991 ext. 2447, or Mr. Bob Laster, Administrator at (504) 394-5991 ext. 2401.
